Dingo

British Daimler Dingo MkII Scout Car

The Dingo Scout Car was designed to travel not only on roads, but over rough terrain of all types. The Armoured Car has constant 4 wheel drive in all directions, a push button type gear selector, and solid rubber combat tires. Dingo's were used in foreign military service up to 1961. This particular vehicle was part of "Bailey's Private Army" in England. Bailey was killed when his fighter plane crashed into the ground many years ago. His collection was then sold off to other collectors. This vehicle was purchased from one of those collectors. The last Dingo's used in combat were in Cyprus. Dingo's are now a very popular collector vehicle.
